Homoeopath B.T. Rudresh will be conferred the title of “Nadoja” (a degree equivalent to honorary D.Litt.) by Kannada University, Hampi, at its 25th “Nudi Habba”.
As many as 215 degrees, including three D. Litt., 100 Ph.D., 74 M.Phil., 35 postgraduation in M.A, Visual Arts, and Music will be conferred on the occasion. In addition, 589 students who have completed their PG courses in various subjects through distance education and 139 students who have completed their diploma courses will be given certificates.
A native of Chikmagaluru, Dr. Rudresh, practices in Bengaluru and has made a name in the field of medicine by propagating Homoeopathy as an alternative to Allopathy for over three decades. Dr. Rudresh has to his credit treating infertility and curing killer diseases like cancer, she said, adding that he is also a writer, orator and a teacher and has penned several books.
He is the recipient of several awards and titles, including the honorary doctorate from Kuvempu University, Eminent Teacher award from Rajiv Gandhi University for Medical Science, and Rajyotsava award.
