Application of “Hering’s Law of Cure”in Homoeopathic Clinical Research
Abstract: ‘Hering’s law’ is a popular and useful principle to monitor the order of disappearance of symptoms under homoeopathic treatment. Previously there was no systematic tool to measure or monitor this principle. Recently researchers have developed some useful tools by virtue of which this law can be properly utilised in clinical research. In this article, application of ‘Hering’s law’ in the field of clinical research is briefly discussed.
HOMEOPATHY!!! IT”S PATEINLY ABSURD. This is such a common medical/ scientific exclamation, SO WHY WON”T IT TO GO AWAY? This is my humble submission Lets understand the scientific/ medical view If you know the weight of a sample of some chemical – let’s say carbon – the basics of high school chemistry tell you how many atoms you have in your sample. A gram of Carbon, for instance, contains 5 X1022 atoms. That sounds like a lot – and it is: it’s followed by twenty-two zeroes...
In every field of medicine the complaint which most commonly causes the patient to seek the advice of a physician is pain. The timing of the patient‘s visit will be governed by his personal sensitivity or pain threshold, and by the degree of his fear of this symptom. In the course of our clinical work we have all been puzzled at times how we may evaluate rightly the main forms of pain arising in the chest. So common is this symptom that in barely three months since I decided on this subject I have treated 70 cases of chest pain.
Samuel Hahnemann denied any link whatsoever to Paracelsus and any link to medieval alchemy as sources of his ideas or techniques. This article examines a range of evidence which suggests otherwise.
Some people say that Paracelsus had done much the same thing as Hahnemann some 250 years previously. This is a claim we need to look at more carefully. It is not quite true that Paracelsus had done the same thing.
Aloe comes from Liliaceae family and it is a red fiery gum which is being triturated. It is known as ‘Socotra’ because the plant Aloe is grown near the shores of Indian Ocean and the Island of Socotra. The ancient use of this remedy was to purge off the bile as mentioned by Dunham. Aloe was proved by Dr. Helbic of Germany in 1833 but additional symptoms were added by Dr. Hering. The purpose of writing this editorial is that I want to share my experiences using Aloe in chronic cases and with advanced pathology.. Mr. A.G., aged 48 years...
Abstract: The mental faculty of the human being consists of Will, Understanding and Memory. If we go through the Lesser Writings of Dr. J.T.Kent, in the chapter ‘Correspondence of Symptoms’ we can see how the ‘Will’ and ‘Intellect’ are actually related to different organs. In case of a female ‘Will’ is directly related to the uterus, ovaries. As long as her ‘Will’ is satisfied, a balance in her life is maintained. Thus the intense desire of a female to become a mother is also reflected, from the fertilization of the ovum, then implantation of ...
