A recent WHO report has revealed several alarming aspects of India's healthcare, highlighting the need for drastic health reforms in the country.
Published on July 4, the study describes the "nature of health workforce inequalities" in the country and provides much needed insight into the many challenges faced by India.

The study was led by Oxford professor Sudhir Anand and his former student Victoria Fan. One of their primary aims was to eradicate the gaps caused by a "woefully inadequate" existing database on health workers in the country.
